Rochell Kogan, M.S. CCC-SLP

Founder & Speech-Language Pathologist

Rochell Kogan, M.S., CCC-SLP, is the Founder and Director of Monmouth Speech & Cognition. She earned her Master of Science (M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology from Yeshiva University in New York City and her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Brooklyn College. Rochell is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

Rochell specializes in the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of speech, language, cognitive-communication, feeding, oral motor, and voice disorders in both pediatric and adult populations. Her clinical expertise includes Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), expressive and receptive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, gestalt language processing, social communication disorders, accent modification, and Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD).

She also has extensive experience treating fluency disorders, including developmental stuttering, neurogenic stuttering, psychogenic stuttering, and cluttering. In addition, Rochell specializes in the treatment of aphasia and cognitive-communication disorders secondary to stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), cancer-related neurological and communication changes, and other neurological conditions. She also has experience treating communication, oral motor, and facial function challenges associated with cerebral palsy, facial paralysis, and various acquired neurological disorders.

Rochell has advanced training and clinical experience in the treatment of ankyloglossia (tongue ties), ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), and a variety of voice disorders. She has received specialized training in Gestalt Language Processing (GLP), PROMPT therapy techniques, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and myofunctional therapy, allowing her to provide individualized, evidence-based treatment tailored to each patient’s unique strengths and needs.

Rochell is passionate about helping individuals of all ages build confidence in their communication abilities and believes in providing compassionate, collaborative, and functional therapy that supports meaningful progress both in and outside of the therapy setting.

Michelle Zaritsky, M.S. CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Michelle is a New Jersey state-licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping individuals develop the communication skills needed to thrive in their everyday lives. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Disorders and Sciences from William Paterson University and has experience working with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of clinical and educational settings.

Michelle has provided evaluation and treatment for a wide range of speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders, including articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language delays/disorders, fluency disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, pragmatic language deficits, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), hearing impairments, cognitive impairments, and aphasia. She is dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-based therapy that is tailored to each patient’s unique strengths, goals, and communication needs.

Michelle strongly believes that family involvement is an essential part of successful therapy. She values building meaningful relationships with families and caregivers and enjoys providing practical strategies, education, and fun, functional activities that support communication growth beyond the therapy room. Her therapy style is warm, engaging, and collaborative, with a focus on creating a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable, motivated, and confident.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Michelle is fluent in Russian, allowing her to connect with and support a broader range of families within the community. She is excited for the opportunity to work alongside you and your child and is committed to helping every individual reach their fullest communication potential.

Rebecca Granovskaya, M.S. CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Rebecca is a Speech-Language Pathologist with experience working in school-based settings and a strong passion for helping children develop confident and effective communication skills. Inspired by her father’s career as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Rebecca earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based speech and language intervention.

Rebecca specializes in early language development, articulation therapy, and pediatric speech and language disorders. She is passionate about creating engaging, individualized therapy sessions that support meaningful progress and help children build confidence in their communication abilities. Rebecca is excited to bring her knowledge, compassion, and dedication to the team at Monmouth Speech & Cognition.
